Translation

Once there was a pretty little girl. Her name was Little Red Riding Hood. She was called that way because she wore a red hood on her head.

She often went across the wood to visit her grandmother who lived there. Her mother always advised Little Red Riding Hood to walk fast across the wood so nothing happens to her. One day, Little Red Riding Hood ran into a wolf while walking in the wood. He pretended to be nice and asked her: „Pretty girl, where are you going to all by yourself?“ „I'm going to visit my grandma,“ said Little Red Riding Hood. „She's sick and I want to be with her a little, and I'm also bringing her some sweet bread.“

The wolf advised her to be careful about where is walking, said good-bye and went away. In reality, he had other plans. He ran to grandma's house. There was a lot of flowers there and he hid behind them so grandma wouldn't recognize him. He counted on the fact that grandma would think he was Little Red Riding Hood. He knocked on the door and said: „Grandma, it's me. May I come in?“ „Come in, child, and kiss me,“ said grandma. She didn't realize what was happening, and the wolf didn't need to be asked twice. Quickly, he jumped on grandma and swallowed her. But the wolf wasn't satisfied with that. He wanted to eat Little Red Riding Hood too. He put grandma's night dress on, placed her hat on his head and went into her bed.

Soon, Little Red Riding Hood arrived, she greeted her grandma nicely and asked:

„How are you?“

„Mmm... Not so good, my child,“ murmured the wolf.

„How deep your voice is, grandma!“

The wolf shifted under the covers. Little Red Riding Hood came closer to the bed and said: „Why are your hands so big?“

„So I can hugg you better.“

„Why do you have such a big mouth?!,“ cried out Little Red Riding Hood.

„So I can eat you up quicker!,“ hollered the wolf. He jumped on her and ate her up in a single bite.

Full, the wolf fell asleep and started to snore. A hunter went by and said that something seemed wrong. He called out for grandma and she didn't respond. When the hunter saw how huge the wolf's stomach was, he realized what had happened. He cut the wolf's stomach and pulled Little Red Riding Hood and grandma out of it.

They hugged and lived on happily together.
