Busy schedule of activities of Puljići in 2016
The children’s language playgroup “Puljići” was also held during 2016 under the leadership of Viviana Brkarić, with the help of Marina Mikuluš. Through celebrations, drawings, preparation of greeting cards and other activities, they celebrated feast days and the customs associated with them. During the carnival period, the “Puljići” created masks and walked around Šušnjevica and Nova Vas to collect eggs. They had lots of fun while collecting lots of eggs and sweets. For Easter they made Easter cards and talked about customs associated with Easter. With the help of their teachers, the children tended to the ecological garden in which they cultivated flowers and vegetables. At the beginning of summer, the “Puljići” held a concert at which, in front of a large audience, they performed a sketch in the Vlashki language, Nono ši nåpu (Grandfather and the beet), which was translated into Vlashki and prepared by Viviana Brkarić. They also performed this play on the Day of the Vlach language on August 6, 2016 in Šušnjevica and in November 2016 at the ceremony on the occasion of the renovation of the old school in Šušnjevica. In 2016, together with their parents, teachers and guests, the “Puljići” ended the year with a Christmas party held on 23 December 2016.
