Puljići’s summer performance

At their end-of-the-school-year summer concert, “Puljići” treated the large audience with songs and poems in the Vlashki language and the projection of three new video interviews from the series Ku Ani ši Natali prin nostru kråj (S Ani i Natali po našem kraju – Around our region with Ani and Natali).

The concert was held on July 7, 2015, in the premises of the local community centre in Šušnjevica. In one of the video interviews, Ani and Natali talked in the Vlashki language with Josip Pepo Glavina who told them about ponds from which drinking water was drawn, fish were caught and in which children bathed in the summer. In the interview with Mario Cvečić, they discovered how to cultivate grapevines, how wine and rakija (brandy) is made, and how the feast day of Pentecost was once celebrated in Nova Vas. In the third interview, Ani and Natali were in Gorica with Marina Mikuluš who told them a story about a fox and wolf in the Vlashki language. After the concert everyone enjoyed refreshments on the square in Šušnjevica.
