Translation

The wood would be prepared when the weather was still nice. From the mountain down in bundles. They would cut the trees and put them together. They would tie them with metal chains, and then roll them down. They came down rolling, but they were always next to them. They couldn't come down by themselves. Yes, but they did not carry them, they rolled them. They did not go up with ox-wagons because there was no road. So, all by hand, everything. They did not even have an electric saw, nothing, just a wood saw or saw, but all by hand.
